Insurance & Payment

Insurance

I am not currently enrolled with insurance carriers, which means that I am considered an out-of-network provider. Out-of-network services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance plan, but you need to contact your carrier directly to determine what is covered. In some cases, out-of-network services are not covered or there are limitations to the coverage. If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, I can provide customized invoices for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement directly to you.

Consider asking your insurance provider the following questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?

  • Is a referral or authorization required by another provider before seeking out-of-network, outpatient mental health services?

  • What is my deductible for out-of-network outpatient mental health services? How much of my deductible has been met?

  • How do I submit for reimbursement?

  • What is the coverage for an out-of-network psychotherapy session (45 and 60 minute sessions)?

  • I have a “super bill” - now what do I do?

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service via debit or credit cards, including HSA/FSA cards.
